I am still a Cartesian. At least sort of. I haven't bought into the entire body/mind integration argument yet, but I am more and more compelled to the hard interconnections and attendent mutual limitations the brain/mind/soul place on each other what ever the method of interaction.
Richard Beck's writings on weak-volitionalism, thanatocentrism and moral luck have been very compelling to me. In his most recent post, he reviews a graduate seminar presentation he recently gave that concluding with the following slide:
