At the still point of the Turning World...

Approaching Yom Kippur.  The day of atonement.  Jesus said, "if anyone thirsts, let him come to me."

The call to a fulfilled and complete existence - to our perfected nature as human beings - echoes in our ears even after all the millennia have past and all the histories stand in evidence against such a thing being possible.

Yet Christ calls us to it, and promises to empower us to achieve it.

Why are we so far from it?  Our sins are forgiven, but our failures linger with us.  We carry the scars of a thousand betrayals (the three begat the ten thousand things) and fail to believe even while we yearn to.

Deep in the heart of the world - in the heart of humanity - a remembering, a quickening, an awakening awaits us.  The path there is lonely and dark and easily lost amongst the distractions.

At-One-Ment promises the path is true, though. Promises the quickening is real.
